Anyway whilst I’m sat in the lovely dry
and warm office I have come across this property for sale with the Northampton estate
agent Your Move.
It’s a spacious family sized home,
located in a good area - the suburb of Kingsthopre, but it does need some work... Neutralise the décor is a must, replace the
carpets, maybe modernise the kitchen and tidy up the garden and it would make
you a great rental.
The price tag on this one is
£150,000 and then there’s the cost of the modernisation to consider, let’s say
£10,000 for the above, but once it has all been done you could easily put it on the rental market
for £850.00pcm. This would result in a yield of around 6.3% - not a bad yield for a Northampton
buy to let property.
