this is my first recommendation for 2016, for any of my readers looking for a
buy to let investment in Northampton.
It’s in a great location –
near to the Town Centre and Northampton’s General Hospital, it has been refurbished
(to a high standard looking at the pics) there’s a lounge/dining room,
kitchen/breakfast room with integrated appliances to include oven, hob and
dishwasher, cloakroom WC/utility room, cellar, two double bedrooms and a four
piece bathroom suite with separate shower. The property also has uPVC double
glazing and gas radiator central heating.
I would expect a property like
this rent for around the £725pcm price mark, which if you calculate it against
the asking price of £155,000, it could potentially generate you a yield of 5.6%.
Not bad when you won’t have to do anything to it to get it rented and as its
freehold there shouldn’t be any service charges or ground rents to pay!
