Out of town investment - Lumbertubs Potential 7.3%

As we near the end of another week, I’ve come across another buy to let investment for you to see.

It has come to the market with O'Riordan Bond for £89,995 and they describe it as an improved modern first floor flat with accommodation comprising communal entrance, entrance hall, sitting/dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a refitted bathroom. Outside are communal gardens and communal parking. Further benefits include uPVC double glazing and electric heating.

You would be looking to achieve around £500.00 - £550.00 in rental for this type of property in this condition. Which when you work out all the figures, you are looking at an annual return of between 6.6% to 7.3%, not taking into account any service charges or ground rent which may be due.

It may not necessarily be an area that comes straight to mind when thinking about buying an investment property in Northampton but with these high yields it definitely worth a look.
